I HAVE BOUGHT FOLLOWERS ON INSTAGRAM AND THIS IS THE RESULT
What KPI do you value the most on your social networks?
It is true that one of the figures that most obsess us in social
networks is the number of fans, followers or followers: we want followers of weight, and that is why
we look at more quantity than quality. If I can have 100,000 followers,
better than 20,000. And if we have more than our competition, double
benefit.
Looking from a distance, you have to know why we want to
accumulate followers in any social network. Yes, obviously, so that they
know our brand, but today I
value the engagement of my followers with my brand (the
real one) more than the number of them that accumulate in my counter.
In other words, it is much more reassuring for me to have 2,000
followers and 100 Likes in a post than not having 20,000 and accumulating only
30.
It is true that there are factors that modify this level of
engagement: the latest changes in the Instagram algorithm, for example,
make the most creative publication have the possibility of reaching only a very
small number of fans ... if we do not go through the box. I mean,
organically, not even our grandmother will see us, because friend Mark wants us
to invest in his network.
Buying followers, hoax or panacea?
If we do a search in Google with the term "buy
followers", we will find two types of content: articles that condemn this
action, and pages where to buy them, many, if we enter, with very positive
comments from buyers (or supposed buyers) on the quality of the followers.
The main peculiarity of these pages that sell followers is that
they do not detail their origin, or they leave it very open: that is, they tell
you about worldwide followers, or Hispanic countries, but it is difficult to
find one that assures me of Spanish followers: more than anything, because it
is the most logical thing, if you operate with national brands, which may seem
more realistic.
The only page I find that talks about real Spanish followers
is BCUBE Agency, which assures us “guarantees a gradual and constant increase
of authentic Spanish followers: active people . All interactions will be
in accordance with your profile thanks to the interests and hashtags that you
will indicate at the time of purchase”.
The price is higher than other pages (44.90 euros for 500
followers, about 8 cents per follower) but, if they are real followers, it is
quite cheap. The page also gives us the possibility to buy followers
geographically, and assumes an increase in interactions, since the new followers
are real and are interested in the content you share.
Although this is the most striking service, the
page also sells Likes in publications and Stories views: the latter also quite
innovative, since it is not usually a popularized servicer are other pages
that are dedicated to the same activity, but that do not inspire so much
confidence (because of the indefiniteness of the follower's profile?). To
name a few, we have:
- Buy-followers. info
- Buy-followers. com
- Create
online advertising. com
- Etc.
The prices of this acquisition vary according to the social
network, but I can give you some approximate ratios that most of them share
(without much price variation):
- Facebook:
from € 3.49 for 50 fans, to € 399.99 for 50,000 fans.
- Twitter:
from € 0.79 for 50 followers, to € 199.99 for 100,000 followers.
- Instagram:
from € 0.79 for 50 followers, to € 199.99 for 100,000 followers.
- YouTube:
from € 5.99 for 100 subscribers, to € 196 for 5,000.
- Google
Plus: 100 followers for € 8, 6,000 for € 180.
Not only in these networks you can buy fans or followers:
Snapchat, Telegram, Vimeo or Pinterest, among others, are also susceptible to
uploading numbers. Perhaps the most curious data, among which I have come
across, has been LinkedIn: you can buy not only fans for your company page, but
also employees or recommendations (!!!).
Everything is bought or sold: views, likes or accounts
It can be said that, in social networks, less pure and simple
conversion (said in silver, sales) everything is capable of being bought, and
at a good price: from a personalized
comment on Facebook (50 for only 10 euros) to Dislikes on YouTube (for
put our competition, 200 for the modest price of 9 euros; 20,000 for 608 euros)
or 1-star reviews, or
5 stars on Facebook (it depends on whether they are for us
or for our competition; curiously, the 1-star ones are more faces than 5).
Some of the pages consulted also pointed out to me the
nationality or language of those false fans who adhered to my brand or
generated engagement: worldwide or Spanish-speaking. They also ensure that
they are true followers, not
bots. That is, with a certain power of decision to follow me or not (at
least, in theory)
Are these followers, these reproductions or these interactions
of quality? Everything points to no, and yet there is some difficulty in
detecting falsehood.
